Mersey Gateway Bridge Pylons

As well as the hoists, Alimak Hek have provided the design for support gantries on the North and South Pylons, with the Central founded directly onto the road deck concrete slab. A special tie recovery and installation process has been used due to no possibility for a rolling tie.

The project – to construct a new bridge across the River Mersey – is now in its final year of construction and the UK team are supporting the installation throughout the project.
